Since 1974, Sam & Sons have had the pleasure of supplying you the freshest fruit and vegetables with great service and plenty of smiles. The journey all began with Sam & Sons’ founder and patriarch, Sam Virgona, who started-out working in a fruit shop at the Preston Market, not long after arriving from Italy, in 1967. The opportunity quickly arose for Sam to run his own store, which he gladly welcomed with open arms.

Sam has coached his 2 sons, Robert and Mark, to follow in his footsteps, so they can continue to supply customers with the freshest fruit and vegetables available – QUALITY, SERVICE, CHOICE.

The store and its customers have been Sam & Sons’ driving passion for so long now – it has grown and flourished as part of Preston Market’s community offering fresh fruit and vegetables.
